Vaughan Williams – (Chairman of Trustees)
Vaughan became involved with the centre when it was saved from demolition over 20 years ago and he was part of the formation of the Joint Management Committee which took over the running of the building. He has worked to develop the centre and the leases with the Local Authority. Vaughan also played a key role in helping the centre to become independent from Wirral Borough Council and by helped to form the new company that is now running the centre.
Roger Bates – Treasurer
Roger, formally the managing director of a major telecommunications company, joined The Parade in 2009 to help prepare the five year business plan for the centre. He is involved with negotiating the transfer of Hoylake Parade from Wirral Borough Council to the new Board of Trustees of the Charitable Trust. His responsibilities include, acting as the primary interface with legal and regulatory bodies and is responsible for developing coherent business plans and strategies with the Executive. This involves the setting of operational budgets and performance targets, building relationships with external auditors and managing the financial resources.
Gill Norris – Centre Development Manager
Gill joined the team at The Parade in 2011. During this time, Gill has used her business and marketing skills to develop the centre in to a professional environment that is dedicated to serving the needs of both the Hoylake community and regional businesses. She has played a key role in promoting The Parade in Hoylake, across the Wirral, throughout the North West of England and has attracted business from abroad.
